Dhanews
National outlets do not cover a single island. This one covers nothing else.
The brief
Dhanews reports on Dharanboodhoo — announcements, programmes, and island affairs that no national outlet carries. The audience is the island itself, which sets both the tone and the scale.
What we built
- Front pageIsland affairs no national outlet carries, published at the scale of Dharanboodhoo itself by contributors who need no technical help.
- SectionsNews, reports, columns, sports, health, people, and stories give a small island a paper of its own.
- Photo NewsShort picture-led reports for events that are better seen than read.
- Article pagesDhivehi typography and right-to-left layout suited to short community reports.
Notable
